Royal Blues set to Face off against Air Force in Malinda Arumadura Grand Final

Royal Blues Baseball Club was the final team to qualify for the Grand Final of the Malinda Arumadura Memorial Trophy 2020 following a tight win over Old Nalanda Baseball Club in the semi-final played on the 28^th of February 2020. They will face Air Force Baseball Club in the final on the 7th of March 2020.

Air Force Baseball Club went undefeated throughout the tournament as they were unfazed by their opponents in the round-robin stage, winning all four of their games on their way to the final.

Royal Blues meanwhile, had to do it the hard way following their early defeat in the 1^st round to DS Knights. 

The Blues bounced back from the early set back in the series, winning all their remaining matches (4 Games), knocking out defending champions Ranabima Baseball Club on their way to the final.

The final is set to take place on the 7^th of March at the Japan-Sri Lanka Friendship Baseball Stadium, Diyagama from 2pm onwards.
