Sri Lanka Baseball resumed its development activities in the island with a program at Revatha College, Balapitiya in the Galle District. This program was conducted on the 9th of March 2022.
Secretary of the Association, Sanka Abeywickrama, along with JICA Coach Kazune Kodama and other local Baseball coaches Malindu Hewage, Ashan Nagawatta, Ishara Chathuranga, and Nelanka Karunarathne were present at this event at the Revatha College in Balapitiya.
Equipment received from JICA was handed over to the student with the intention of carrying out the game in the school.
Sri Lanka Baseball hopes to continue the development of the game and hopes to resume tournaments for the year 2022 in the coming months.
