Tenth Japan – Sri Lanka Friendship Baseball Field celebrations

The 10^th Anniversary of the Japan – Sri Lanka Friendship Baseball Field was celebrated in grand fashion at Colombo 07, Cinnamon Garden.

These celebrations were conducted with the patronage of H.E. Japanese Ambassador Mizukoshi Hideaki, newly appointed Secretary of the Ministry of the Sports K. Mahesan, Chairman of the Sports Council Mr. Arjuna Ranathunge and Presidents of the NOC Suresh Subramaniam, and other distinguished guests.

Added to these guests were members from the Japan International Cooperation Agency which has been providing coaches and assistance towards Sri Lanka Baseball throughout the years and the Executive Committee of the Sri Lanka Baseball Association.

A cake was cut in celebration as the main member who donated towards the ground, Mr. Anami Kenichi, the President of the Hotel AZ Chain was also present for the celebrations
